Brad's 1970 Trans Am

The Challenge

Our job is to "update" a 1970 Trans Am, one of the most recognized and respected muscle cars of all time, with subtle body and stance mods and not-so-subtle performance enhancements.  All while maintaining its iconic character. Our job is to Take an Iconic muscle car and update it with a modern powertrain and driveline keeping the exterior looking mostly original with a slight update in stance and wheels.  Open the hood and its all business with a Butler Performance engine and an engine bay treatment that fits the BBT mold.

What We've Done So Far

To date, we've replaced the entire floor pan and inner rear wheel tubs and repaired some rust in the lower rear quarter panels, firewall and cowl.  Now it's off to the races with an all business Butler Performance engine surrounded by a BBT-style engine compartment, Detroit Speed front and rear suspension, Bowler T-56 Magnum transmission and big Baer brakes.
